Pastor

Mark was licensed and ordained by West Fairfield in August of 2017. The path to him finally accepting (and surrendering) to this specific calling that God had for his life took several years. He and his wife Allison have been attending West Fairfield since they began dating in 1988 and they served as the youth leaders for over 20 years prior to Mark serving as Pastor. Mark is also a Chaplain for the High Point Police Department since 2023, and the High Point Fire Department in 2026.
Mark holds a degree in Accounting and Allison has a degree in Psychology, specializing in Christian Counseling. They have two grown children, Courtney, married to Christopher McMahan who also grew up in the church youth group, and Kyle, who married Hope Skipper in December 2021. They are proud members of the "Grandparents Club" and adore their grandson, Collin (age 4) and grandaughter, Hallie Mae (age 1). Although they have 2 biological children, they consider all the ‘kids” (and their kids) from their past youth group days as their children and grandchildren! Mark is an avid NASCAR and UNC basketball fan. He enjoys playing golf during his free time (if there ever is any). He and Allison love mountain biking, water sports, and boating during the summertime at Badin lake.
Mark & Allison are most excited about being part of the vision God has for WFBC and witness His goodness and provision for it. People are accepting Christ, lives are changing, hearts are healing, and the love for one another is evident and continues to blossom at West Fairfield.
